The one year access to Dental Technology certificate course will introduce the student to the basic practical skills of dental technology. A dental technician is the member of the dental who constructs appliances which the dentist fits into the patient’s mouth. These appliances can range from dentures, crowns or bridges, orthodontic appliances. Technicians, work with a variety of materials including waxes, plastics, metal and porcelain.
